OK so the building i work in has 3 offices + my office. Dentist, Eye Dr., Food Dr. There has been an Antares Mechanical machine in the lobby for about 10yrs. Owner paid no commission at all. Due to health problems she really wanted to get if off her hands (pluse shes loaded/rich) so i bought it from her for $1.00 (yes thats one dollar). This machine avg.'s 90-100 per month profit so it works great and its EASY to fill and take care of because i see it every day.
This has caused me to get the vending bug and i just made my first Real purchase of an existing location. I know i rushed into it but.....here it goes: He has 7 machines at a major car dealership (all Antares machines). 3 in the main lobby...2 in a break room...1 in the paint shop....1 in the parts/service dept. Hes has 2 more at a landscaping company about 3min down the road. His profit in the ranges between 250-350 Nov-March and between 400-500 March-October...... Chips are 50c.....Can drinks are 50c......Candy 75c......pasteries 1.00 Ive been to collect with him 4 saturdays in a row to get an idea of what is collected. Saturday #1 280.00 Saturday #2 250.00 Saturday #3 320.00 Saturday #4 280.00........this is the collection AFTER all coin changers were refilled....SO this is a total of $1,130.00 for the month. I purchased the 2 routes for $8,800....pay no commissions at either locations. I'd like some feed back from other venders. Thanx |

The Antares vending machine is a good machine but it is mechanical. If someone walks up to that machine with a quarter and two dimes and a nickle, they can't use it. I would recommend during your expansion to start buying some electronic machines. This way you capture all the business.
Antares machines have dollar bill changers but it can't help a person with a pocket full of dimes. |

hope you don't have any problems! Sounds like a good deal. Hope the economy doesn't affect your sales for the vending machines since it's in a dealership.

Sounds like you're off to a great start. I'd say pay attention to what kind of things (products) sell well and make sure that your machines are stocked well with them. We have customers that have machines at laundry mats that are restocked 2 times a week due to the high sale of certain types of chips.
If you ever need parts or repairs. Hit me up. I'd be happy to help you. My company can also upgrade your bill validators for your machines to take new form of currency. (New $5 bills) all the best! Kevin kevin@cnavending.com 626-617-1256 |

I would not consider the situation to be bad and i think you are not stuck in it but you are rocking it.
Professional vending machine services, Stocking & Cleaning is also a great option.
