Red Bull Filed A Trademark And Unfair Competition Lawsuit Against Mad Dog Energy Drinks
\Red Bull has filed a lawsuit against Mad Dog Energy Products because Mad Dog is showing on a graph that one of there energy products has 25% more caffeine than an 8oz. can of Red Bull. Even though critics and attorneys say that Mad Dog is not breaking any laws Mad Dog has decided to remove any Red Bull Logos from there graphs. This is great news for Mad Dog Energy Products, a company that was not even on the map a few years ago has now got the attention of every major player in the energy market. Mad Dog Energy has accomplished what many energy companies can not do. Most energy products are sold over the counter, so the only way to get them is in a retail establishment. Mad Dog goes a step further and designs a special vending machine for everyone of there products. There vending machines are distributed by vending machine distributors. Doing this allows the energy market to be brought into the workplace. Not too long ago the only choice for an employee in a break room was a cup of coffee as a pick me up for the day. Now they have an alternative through vending machines that are right next to the coffee pot. Many attorneys feel Mad Dog should fight the fight, but Mad Dog principles are more concerned with developing new products for there customers. Definitely a smart move on Mad Dogs part. Red Bull will push around anyone they feel is a threat but Mad Dog has already made a name for themselves and feel they will surpass Red Bull sales in the next few years. |

I absolutely agree with you, Vend123. Mad Dog has done a superior job with their product line and their vending machines, both for SHOTS and for CHEWS. I particularly like their chews over other competitors.
In reference to Red Bull, this company is very stubborn with their retail marketing. It is almost impossible to obtain a Red Bull vending machine from these folks. Not only that, but Red Bull will also not allow their products to be sold by Pepsi or Coke machines. Both of these retail giants, however, allow MONSTER and ROCKSTAR, to be sold in their vending machines. Red Bull is very snobbish and carries an offensive air of superiority with every single competitor. Red Bull was very lucky that both Mad Dog and Vroom Foods allowed energy customers to make an intelligent choice when it came to deciding between energy drinks and energy chews. Red Bull, what is your fear? ![]() |
